My clarifying treatment bars are such an important part of the pampering services that I offer in my salon. They allow me to thoroughly cleanse and effectively prepare the scalp and hair before hair loss treatments, scalp services, and therapeutic conditioning sessions.

This deep cleansing clarifying shampoo bar is formulated with apple cider vinegar, baking soda & honey! The combination of main ingredients, along with other natural additives, does a great job at breaking down dandruff, scalp oils, and product buildup from extended-wear hairstyles like braids, twists, cornrows, and locs. It's a natural "deodorizer" for the hair as well, and the honey, a natural humectant, antimicrobial, and antifungal additive, supports scalp health and hair growth and leaves hair with a natural sheen. 

Mango Mint Clarifying Shampoo Treatment Bar is intended for a thorough and deep cleansing of hair and/or scalp, and a deep conditioning treatment should be done afterwards to restore softness and sheen. Using the HealthyLocs System of conditioning oils and mists is a great way to follow up this treatment. Since the HealthyLocs System is a "synergistic" product line, most of my products are multi-functional and complement each other. Here are some awesome tips for this incredible clarifying bar:

Tip #1: Slice the bar in 1/4's, 1/2's, or 1/3's and leave a section at the kitchen sink to wash your hands after preparing smelly foods like fish, onion, and garlic to help remove odor. Follow up with Loc Luv Oil (or any of the other fragrant oils) to gently scent and lock in softness.

Tip #2: Keep a piece in the laundry room to help with stains in your clothing. Wet the bar with water and rub directly on the stain (pretty awesome on blood stains too) and let it set for a few minutes before laundering.

Tip #3: Keep a piece in the shower or at the bathroom sink to cleanse around your hairline or areas in your scalp if you suffer from seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis. Rinse the area thoroughly and apply your ointment, treatments, or serums afterwards.

Tip #4: Very effective for cleaning your makeup brushes.

Tip #5: Use during a shower or bath for thorough cleansing and minimizing body odor in creases, crevices, and folds. Great for teenagers.
